Loading the latest build…
A glassmorphic Android player built around the way you actually listen — downloads that work on a plane, lyrics that keep time, and a home feed that learns from your history instead of guessing.
On Windows? Install from the Microsoft Store with one command
winget install --id XPFFD9P6NJSHH5 --source msstore

What's inside
Every one of these ships in the current build — no waitlists, no paid tier, no account.
Keep tracks, albums and whole playlists on the device. No connection, no degradation, no silent expiry.
Home is ranked from what you actually played — recent plays, likes and followed artists — not a shuffled list of whatever is trending.
A playlist becomes a code another phone can scan from across the table. The whole thing travels in the code — no server, no account, no link rot.
Dock it and the screen becomes an aurora lit by the album art, with a big clock and slow drift that protects OLED panels overnight.
Synced, line-by-line lyrics that scroll with the track, and a plain view for everything else.
Fade out at the end of the track rather than mid-chorus, and shape the sound with a built-in equaliser and crossfade.
Skip, pause and browse from the watch, with its own screens rather than a stretched phone layout.
Light, dark and a true-black AMOLED theme, Material You colour from your wallpaper, or pick an accent yourself.
Getting it on your phone
MusicSM isn't on the Play Store, so Android will ask permission before installing it. That prompt is normal for any app installed outside the store.
Tap the download button above. Your browser may warn that this file type can harm your device — that warning appears for every APK.
Open the downloaded file. Android will offer to take you to Install unknown apps; enable it for the browser you used, then come back.
Tap Install, then Open. Nothing to sign up for — the app works the moment it starts.
Requires Android 7.0 or newer. Downloads are served straight from the project's GitHub releases, so you can always verify the file at source.
Have a Wear OS watch? The watch app needs MusicSM on your phone and
only talks to the phone build from the same release, so update both together. Watches
have no browser to install from: install it from a computer with
adb install over Wi‑Fi debugging (Settings → Developer options on the
watch), or with an app like Bugjaeger or Wear Installer on your phone.
On a computer? On Windows, the easiest way is the
Microsoft Store
(or the winget command above): it's signed and updates itself. The direct
Windows and Mac installers aren't code-signed yet.
On Windows, if SmartScreen steps in, choose More info → Run anyway. On a Mac,
the one-line Terminal command above installs it with no prompt; if you downloaded the
DMG instead, open the app once, then allow it under
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
